Since my early twenties I have been searching for a good cleanser, that doesn’t have an extra dry effect on my skin, specially on sensitive areas as face, neck and hands. Due to my teenager’s acne problem and the fact I have mixed skin, I always found myself buying products that were too aggressive on some areas and mild on others. There wasn’t a balance.
Last year I decided to start experimenting on different approaches, natural and homemade versions of skin care products, and the result was amazing!
I tried many different internet available recepies, some worked some didn’t. Some even got me a rash. Then I did some home laboratory work, and optimised a natural cleanser that respected my atopic skin.
Selected core ingredients are the key elements of this cleanser. For starters coconut oil which is an exceptional natural skin moisturiser, even for oily skin types. Another one, is honey that has an amazing anti inflammatory, moisturising and anti aging skin properties. The secret ingredient used in this recipe is baking soda, which has both anti inflammatory and mild exfoliating properties.
Hope you enjoy! Your best skin days are now closer!
