Roasted pears are great with just a drizzle of honey and for me this dessert has been present in my life since I was a child. As I mentioned before my Mother is a great cook. So during college as I was learning to recreate my Mothers recipes, I came across a more exquisite approach to her classic roasted pears. A really close friend of mine suggested adding nuts and blue cheese to the recipe. Throughout the years I developed my own version, testing it at dinner parties. I can assure you that it’s a crowd pleaser. Ready for any foodie soul out there!

Roasted Pears & Blue Cheese

Ingredients
- 4 Pears
- 2 tbsp Blue Cheese
- 2 tbsp Minced Almonds (toasted)
- 4 tbsp Honey

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 °F.
- Peel the pears and cut them in halves.
- Remove the core of each pear half.
- In a baking dish place the pears with the core up, stuff the pears with the blue cheese.
- Add the toasted minced almonds, and drizzle with honey.
- Baked them in the oven for at least 30 min, or until golden on top.
- Take the baking dish out of the oven and let it cool for 5 min before you serve.
Notes
- You can add any other nuts if you like, or even raisins.
